Met Collective

The Kongs exhibition ‘Met Collection’ was fairly successful with a reasonable number of visitors. As the only person working with 3D pieces I was given a majority of the floor space and control of the spotlights overhead. This meant I could use the lighting to emphasise the pieces I thought appropriate and direct the viewer to certain sculptures.  This was effective and I will experiment further to see if I want to include this element in the Degree show.

Preparation for the show included advertisement through social media, word of mouth, leaflets and posters. As well as updating my social media ready for the show, I made sure my website was up to date and featured current and past work, these were shown beside my pieces in the exhibition.
